Create. Compose. Communicate.

Welcome to the KU Writing Center

Writers need feedback, sounding boards, and other people to coach and guide them while they compose. That's where the KU Writing Center comes in. It's a place for productive talk about writing, with trained peer consultants to help you brainstorm, draft, and revise your writing. View our Mission and Diversity Statements, or read our 2013-2014 Annual Report (pdf).

The Writing Center at Anschutz Library and Watson Library locations are now open for the Fall 2015 semester

During the first week of classes, only Watson and Anschutz Library locations will be open for appointments.

Online and residence hall appointments will open August 31st, for the second week of classes.

Register for the fall Graduate Research/Write-Ins at the Lawrence campus on Sept. 20 and at Edwards on Sept. 12.
